This is a short story that I have recently found. This is a story about how people can judge someone just by their name, specifically in job applications. How is this fair? How is this right? How is this American? It is not, this is the land of opportunity where every person should have an equal chance at their own success. If employers discriminate based on the applicants name rather than qualifications how is this equal opportunity? In this class we are focused on the rights that people have as Americans. The right to equal opportunity employment is something that should be a normality rather than a hope for most people.
